RockspotNYC was designed through a collaborative process led by Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, sponsored by the Queens Council for the Arts. The tour was the final product of the project, intended to bring awareness and appreciation of the natural resources of the Rockaway public waterfront and make better use of the land by bring prople out to enjoy this spectacular peninsula that is the longest stretch of public waterfront in New York City.
The tour was conceived and designed by the Pratt Undergraduate Communication Design students led by Professor David Frisco. Pratt students: David Chapman, Kevin Farrell, Jimmy Horn, Christopher Lehr and Derek Winegar.
