A Winter Hike at Breezy Point
A Winter Hike at Breezy Point
Join Mickey Maxwell Cohen, American Littoral Society naturalist, to the little known and now-deserted western tip of the Rockaway Peninsula during a full-moon low tide. Highlights will include seashells and other stranded critters, winter shore birds and a surprising variety of rocks and minerals used in the construction of the Breezy Point Jetty. Binoculars and a magnifying glass will be helpful. This is an American Littoral Society / GNRA Partnership Program.
